EMERGENCY CARE
We offer after hour emergency services to our farm animal patients including cows, horses, goats, sheep, bison, pigs, chickens and llamas/alpacas.
We offer evening emergency services until 8pm for companion animals including canines and felines and some weekends as able.
EUTHANASIA
We offer in-home euthanasia for your animals.

ABOUT MVS
Founded in 2025, McIntyre Veterinary Services is a mixed animal veterinary service based in Plains Montana. Our mission is to provide the highest level of veterinary care while providing friendly and compassionate service. Dr. Stephanie McIntyre grew up on a farm in central Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the Ohio State University. Her professional interests include equine sports medicine and reproduction, livestock production and surgery, dentistry and internal medicine.
While we are large animal focused, we care for all species as we are able including farm/production animals, performance/pleasure horses and companion pets. We take pride in offering a wide range of veterinary services, from routine check-ups to specialized treatments and emergency care. Though primarily ambulatory, we have facilities to accommodate drop off care, emergencies, hospitalizations, and reproductive management. At McIntyre Veterinary Services, we strive to make a difference in the lives of animals and the community we serve.
ONLINE PHARMACY
We provide medications and supplies as needed for established practice clients. These can be provided to you in-person if we have inventory available or ordered directly from our online pharmacy and drop shipped directly to you. Our online pharmacy offers competitive prices and ensures that all medications come directly from trusted, veterinary-approved suppliers—no guesswork, no knockoffs. It also automatically notifies us when your animal’s annual prescriptions are requiring renewal along with documenting the medications you order to the correct patient’s medical chart. Our ability to verify the medications your animals receive helps us deliver a higher standard of care and assist you if there is ever an issue with an order. Our pharmacy is fully licensed, monitored by our team, and backed by the same quality care you expect from our clinic.
As a benefit to clients that utilize our pharmacy, we offer complimentary telehealth services to demonstrate our appreciation for your loyalty. We know you have many choices for purchasing medications and supplies. If we can save you an emergency visit through telehealth, we are happy to do so.
